Dan MadlerDan Madler

Chief Executive Officer, HDFP

Dan has been employed by Beyond Shelter, Inc. (BSI) since March of 2003, and he is responsible to ensure that the development and fiscal operations of BSI continue to meet the needs of the affordable housing market. Dan has 22+ years of experience in the affordable housing industry, and he has participated with the design, financing, and general development of 28 affordable housing projects totaling 885 units located in North Dakota, South Dakota, and Minnesota.

Lisa RotvoldLisa Rotvold

Developer, HDFP, HCCP

Lisa has been employed by BSI since April 2006. She is responsible for development of new projects including identifying need, developing plans and budgets, and seeking funding from a variety of sources. Lisa has over 21 years of experience in the affordable housing industry ranging from direct development, to grant administration, to providing development assistance to communities throughout North Dakota and South Dakota. Lisa has played a role in the development of over 600 units of affordable housing.

Joe RizzoJoe Rizzo

Developer, HDFP, HCCP

Joe joined the BSI Team in April 2014. He is responsible for development of new projects including identifying need, developing plans and budgets, and seeking funding from a variety of sources. Prior to BSI, Joe has over 20 years of experience in the residential mortgage and finance industry, and is currently finishing his graduate program to receive his masters where he is emphasizing in Community Development.

Randy BachRandy Bach

Asset Manager, HCCP, RPA, CGP, AMS, C3P, MPM, HDFP

Randy joined BSI in 2012. His responsibilities include Portfolio Management including Risk Management, Compliance, Financial and Operational oversight including Capital Need and Project Management and Real Estate functions. Randy has 24 years' experience in Asset Management, Real Estate, and Project and Facilities Management in Government, Healthcare and Affordable Housing. He has worked in all phases of the real property life cycle.

Christopher MillerChristopher Miller

Asset Manager, AMS, HDFP

Christopher joined the BSI Team in May 2015. He is responsible for compliance, systems development, improvements and portfolio operational oversight. Prior to BSI, Christopher has 16 years of experience of accounting and finance in non-profit and private sector businesses.

Finance Manager, HCCP

Lori has been employed by BSI since June 2012. She is responsible for the accounting and development operations of BSI and related subsidiaries. Lori has over 17 years of experience in the affordable housing industry.

Faye GramlowFaye Gramlow

Development Accountant

Faye joined BSI in June 2015. She is responsible for the accounting and development operations of BSI and related subsidiaries.

Administrative Assistant, HCCP

Heather has been employed by BSI since 2011. She provides staff support and promotes the activities of BSI. Heather has 16 years of experience in the affordable housing industry.
