Jacob has been with BSI since April of 2023. He is responsible for the development of new projects including identifying needs in different communities, developing plans and budgets, and seeking funding from a variety of sources, and managing the projects through construction. Prior to BSI, Jake has 5 years of experience in multifamily renovations and new construction. Jake also comes to BSI with experience in Federal program management with the HUD CDBG program.

  • Bachelors Degree in Construction Management- North Dakota State University 
  • Bachelors Degree in Emergency Management- North Dakota State University

  • Housing Development Finance Professional (HDFP) Certification- National Development Council
  • Occupational Safety and Health Administration 30hr Construction Course (OSHA 30) - ClickSafety

Community Involvement

Jake and his wife are involved as family mentors for the Lake Agassiz Habitat for Humanity. Jake resides in Moorhead, MN with is wife and son. He enjoys camping, biking, snowshoeing, cooking, working on projects around the house, and spending time with his family.
